“Each one of us gives his own meaning to art” — Daniele Cesetti aka MANA
We are delighted to have MANA as our Artist of The Month. MANA says that each of his works is a journey and doesn’t need a description: “Everyone observes, reflects, and imagines differently and I want you all to live within what you are looking at.”
Throughout this blog post, you will be able to learn more about MANA’s spectacular works and the inspiration behind them in his own words.
“I have been creating since I was a child; without certificates or classical education. Creating is my journey; it relieves my stress and allows me to express, on canvas, the emotions I hold inside. Being an artist is putting a hint of myself in whatever I do. Art is an expression of myself, the tale of me, and it is how I communicate my opinions and my inner-most thoughts. My goal is to allow my audience to reflect upon and to observe the intimacy that is hidden within all aspects of life.”
“I always give priority to my creativity, during everyday life I can be struck by a landscape or a person or a feeling that triggers an image so I always bring with me pen and paper to make what I have in mind real and then revisit it, reshape it and bring it on canvas.
When you finally complete a work the adrenaline rises and there is an incredible euphoria because you think back to the original idea, to the sketch and then you see the conclusion and observe the completed work.
It seems almost like a conception, you go from the seed, from the embryo and then see the growth and birth of life.”
“The LDSO project differs from my normal painting because it gives more space to the polemical vein, I usually use acrylics and felt-tip pens, whereas in my normal production I prefer oil. It is a stronger, more violent project, it is much more detailed, each painting highlights a problem in life. Obviously it is complicated to think that someone could hang such a work in their home, but LDSO is the real essence, it is a project where I am free. It's very nice to have different ideas in your head because it gives you the possibility to range, to use different mediums, different techniques and always be inspired. Actually, 3 paintings are exposed in Venice " CONTEMPORARY VENICE 2021". @itsliquidgroup, another one has been published in the book "ART ANTHOLOGY" @guto_ajayu_culture and soon we will present a collection of NFT from this project.”
